If you are interested in recycling, Decoration 2 today. 0, we tell you a great idea to do with the bulbs you have at home and do not use because they are damaged. Let’s give these bulbs a new function, we will use as a decorative vase.

These vases can be used to decorate every corner of our home and, besides being used as a decorative item, we will be recycled.

Sure we all have some bulbs at home, not work. So we just have to assemble a drill, small pliers, a syringe, your favorite flowers and a little water. For each bulb can make a vase.

So this way we will start with a small hole in the metal of the light bulb, this hole will be useful to get everything inside very easily. Remember not to make a hole too big nor too small.

Now, start with small pliers to remove the entire inside of the bulb … retire this with Cudia and remember that it is completely empty without any other material.

Then clean the base a bit and choose your favorite flowers, for example we can put some nice wildflowers margaritas or some .. this vase provide a personal touch and easy to our home.

Place your chosen flower inside the bulb and using a syringe enter the water as we deem appropriate. Finally, one is choosing a nice base for the bulb does not roll with its roundness. This base may be a small stand of wood or a metal or plastic base … but whatever we attach the bulb to the structure. We leave it to dry thoroughly and ready.

One trick to make your flowers last longer is to place a small aspirin in the water and ready!

The vases are decorative, very attractive, which helps us to enhance any corner or area of our home. If you like vases and make great compositions, modern decor 2. 0, we tell you how to decorate a very special vase.

Whether you place your favorite flowers, to decorate with beautiful original compositions … this proposal is ideal for casual settings and colorful. It is also perfect for monochrome environments if you want to give a touch of color.

This colorful vase is wrapped in silk and is manufactured to embellish a linving, although we can decorate any corner of our home.

BetterHomes seen, we wanted to share with you all. A fun and creative way to show off flowers to all our guests. If you are interested in making a similar one just have to pick up a bottle of glass or plastic, so this activity is also perfect if you want to recycle bottles.

We’ll also need craft glue and some white embroidery threads that are of silk. We can choose these threads of color that we like.

The first thing to do is wash the bottle to get rid of any impurities. Then take the glue and put a dot on the bottom of the bottle itself.

We now proceed to wrap the threads outlining the whole bottle .. wrap it well! Make sure that there are no gaps, all threads must be perfectly together, if necessary is to apply a few drops of glue during the course of this step.

The colors you wear and the design too! In this case wires have been chosen pink, orange, yellow … rather warm tones and vibrant. The design was based on horizontal stripes in different colors and each color we see is different in white thread.

We must keep in mind that when we want to change the thread color, simply cut and stick the end with a little glue … then resumes with a different color thread! And continue to complete the bottle and go!

Today we present this wonderful centerpiece … fresh, dynamic and very summery for the month in which we are! With a little water and little sand will propose this beautiful ornament to decorate the table.

This center can be arranged in different colors and types of shells .. sand and objects that want to include. According to the colors to be composed, and what to include in his interior, the center may well serve for summer or winter.

Although we are already looking forward to a good time to re-open terraces and gardens, we share this great idea that will give an attractive touch to your table.

The center consists of a round tank, sand beach or the one you like, some shells and a candle rather thick. We recall that we can fill the tank with stones instead of sand … or perhaps marbles, land, candy or whatever strikes your fancy.

If you can do in your home thoroughly clean the tank, remove all traces of impurities to see. Once done proceed to add the sand that fit inside of it. At least covers the entire base.

The shells we introdiciendo the inside of the sin, taking care to respect the place where the candle will have purchased. In addition we can add some conch shells, mussels, starfish or whatever you want.
Now is the time to introduce the candle to this place with your hands a hole in the sand and enter the selected sailing. Try to be rather thick. To finish, turn this when your guests are arriving.

There comes a time of year, in which the weather outside becomes cold and punishing. Nothing feels better than when you get home to a nice, warm, and cosy living room. It is therefore important you make sure your living room is as good as it can get. You don’t have to have a lot of money to this either, as just a few small changes and upgrades will transform your leaving room from an ice cave, into a warm and inviting retreat. In this article we’re going to list a few of the things you can do, to get the most from your living room.

1. Choose the Right Colour Scheme

It sounds pretty simple, but many people don’t actually realise that one of the easiest ways you can make a room feel warmer, is by choosing the correct colours. You can get plenty of warm “neutral” colours, or be more exciting and choose a deep red, or yellow to add a little extra flair. Choosing colours that match your furniture (or vice versa) is very important, because a clash will make your living room feel uncomfortable, and you’ll most likely be living with these colours for a while. Take your time, and don’t rush any decisions.

2. Focus on Textures

A cosy room, doesn’t just look cosy, it feels that way too. Soft, touchable pieces will enhance the feel of your living room. Nothing feels better than a soft rug on bare feet and throws will always make you feel like you can wrap up and snuggle on the sofa. Consider adding pillows too. Not only do they look great, but they make relaxing so much better. If you add these little comfort features to your living room, you’ll find that you’ve quickly created the perfect winter hideaway.

3. Select Exceptional Accent Pieces

The correct accent pieces make a huge difference to the overall effect of a room. Inexpensive items such as candles, and mirrors, as well as other more expensive items like Art, make a room feel alive. Strategically positioning candles in front of your mirror can create a dramatic effect, as well as an inviting feel. Like your furniture, these items should match the colour scheme of your room so that they feel like they are somewhere they belong.

4. Use High-Quality Lighting

You can’t really go wrong using many different types of lighting in your living room, but you can definitely go wrong using too much. Small table lamps are a good choice because they provide enough lighting for many activities (such as reading) while allowing you to turn off the rest of your lights,=. This not only looks cosy, but saves energy, and costs less. Controlling your lighting with a dimmer switch can also allow you to achieve a cosier looking room.

5. Get Control Over Natural Light

Even if you bought the most expensive and brilliant lighting, it would all go to waste if you didn’t properly control the amount of external light coming into your living room. You should invest in good window coverings to match your decor, such as curtains, or blinds. Maybe even both. There are many varieties of both, with the most cosy being curtains, or wooden blinds. Both of these should help you completely block out light from outside sources.

The finished result of making these changes should be the perfect place to go to get away from the frigid temperatures and punishing weather of the winter season. Some people will say, a comforting, cosy living room should have a fireplace. This is not necessarily true. These small touches alone, can make your living room even more warm and inviting and bring your interior design scheme to a whole new level.

Every bedroom needs a good bed, and every bed needs a good mattress. So when you purchase a new bed do not forget to select a mattress that will meet all your personal specifications.

As time and age catches up with you, you will find that getting in a morning is not just a nuisance but also a pain; a literal physical pain. As our bodies begin to mature, sleeping can cause pressure on our muscles and joints; resulting in aches and pains on a morning. Therefore it is wise to have a mattress that helps support your body as well as provide comfort.

The modern day king of mattresses is the memory foam mattress. It is a unique material that moulds to the shape of your body, whilst still supporting your weight. Due to this shaping to your body shape, your weight is evenly distributed, eliminating pressure points where usually aches and pains will occur.

At dreams.co.uk they have a fantastic range of memory foam and latex mattresses. You can choose from mattress toppers that are made of memory foam that you then place on top of your normal mattress, a price saving option, or you can also choose from state of the art triple layer memory foam mattresses that are the epitome of comfort.

The fact is that even if you do not suffer from aches and pains you are guaranteed a good nights sleep with a memory foam mattress.
> Tableware
When guests take their seats should not be faced with a mountain of dishes. We will never put more than three dishes on top of each other, especially if they are flat. For the “presentation” with a single dish is enough, but there is one exception: the bowl, the other that can be placed above the level since the beginning of the meal.

Placed two inches from the edge of the table, all dishes play a role: the presentation plate is used as a base for other dishes and are only removed when the time comes for cheese and coffee, the bowl is used to soups and plain for entrees, finally, we will have the plate for the bread up and left the main course. When put on the table we respect the required distance of thirty inches between courses, so guests do not feel like sardines.

> The cutlery

We repeat for the last time: the fork go left and the right knife. And to make it even better, the tips of the fork must remain face down in contact with the cloth, and saw the knife facing the plate. The knife trivet is only used in family dinners because it shows that we do not intend to change the silverware between courses. If you still decided to place them, the knife will not over at the time of the table. If we introduce a starter soup, we put the spoon right next to the knife with the convex contact the tablecloth. As for the silverware for dessert, you can choose. If you decide from the outset to find that go between the plate and glasses. You can also place when we introduce the dessert. It’s a matter of taste.

> In a row!
First, second and dessert, each dish with your silverware. If we serve a menu something more elaborate than usual, with five or six dishes, we find a string of covered that we know what to do. Do not worry! Just organize and the rule is very simple: we will have in order of use. Place them on the outside the silverware that will be used first. And in the interior, the dessert. For example, if first we fish, we will take the fork to the left and knife on the far right. If you then serve meat, we take the closest to the plate covered.

> Glassware
Placed in order of use, the vessels of the heart in front of the plate, are the most important because it is the cup of water and wine. The end correspond to snack or food digestion closed. Generally, the vessels must be placed from largest to smallest, left to right. The water (the largest) is placed to the left. The wine glasses are below the glass of water, sometimes creating a slight diagonal. If you want to show off at all, put a kind of glass for each kind of wine.

> Napkins
Place them wherever you like: in the cup, on a plate or on the tablecloth. As for folding, let your imagination: flower, diamond, star, etc. Give them your personal touch always adapting to the style of the evening.

> Decor
Avoid excesses, opt for simplicity. With everything on the table is not worth adding tons and tons of decorative elements. So forget the centerpieces so large that we can not see the guest we have in front and very fragrant flowers that give headaches. Go for candles (not too aromatic) for an intimate and elegant lighting. Put on the table salt, pepper, water and an ashtray. This will save you having to get up every few minutes during lunch.
With all this you’re ready to receive guests with elegance and at any time. Bon appetit!

Consider the place where the carpet is to be used by asking: Is it a high traffic area? Is in a room of high moisture content?, What kind of activity will have the room?

For living rooms or hallways: it is better to get a high grade carpet and high traffic are those that have less cushioning.

For bedrooms, consider who is in them as children tend to spend more time in their rooms so that adults, if children are playing on the floor, cut pile carpet is better because it feels soft to the touch.

Look at the colors around you and unless you plan to paint the walls, choose a rug that matches the current color of your room. For example, if your walls are painted or papered in bright colors, it is best to stick to neutral colors for the carpet. The rug should complement the walls instead of fighting for attention.

Many people think that choosing dark colored carpets or patterned can help hide the dirt, but the truth is that this is not always the case. It really has more to do with the type of carpet fiber. Nylon is the most popular choice for carpet for its duration, low price and ease when cleaning.

Another option is to wool, especially for luxury carpets. While this fiber is more expensive and harder to keep clean, the wool is legendary resistance is, of course, if there retardant fire.

Choose a carpet that you have time to care because the life of your carpet depends on the good care you give. All sellers and manufacturers of rugs have care instructions, so be sure to read before buying the carpet.

Choosing a carpet is not hard, if you read the information about it in advance and determine what role will comply.

Fans are nothing new. They have been used for many, many years to provide the creation of air-flow during hot weather however it is also possible that they can be utilised to be of use in cold weather as well. Nature tells us and shows us that hot air rises and we are all cognizant of that fact. Logic tells us that during warm weather we need the hotter air to be above us but when it is cold we need the warmer air to surround us at ground level. A ceiling fan will aid us in maintaining that so called comfort zone.

Managing to control the room temperature with air conditioners used to be a luxury but not any more and many of us are turning to ceiling fans. A really good ceiling fane should when properly used and maintained have the capacity for a higher delivery of air with less noise, less wobbling and longer usage. It should alleviate heating and cooling costs in your home. Taking into consideration the amazing increase in utility bills over the past few years this is indeed a good thing. Furthermore to those of us who are concerned about the environment the sensible usage of the ceiling fan can cut down consumption of energy sources which may be a contributory factor to the planets pollution.

It is obviously of vital importance that you purchase the correct size and model of fan for the room in question. This is in order to obtain the best possible benefits couples with the minimum usage of energy. Users sometimes believe that the more blades a ceiling fan has then more air circulation will be presented. Wrong. A ceiling fan with four blades for example will provide the same amount of air as one with three blades.

The most professional results obtainable from a ceiling fan are provided when the height of the plane of rotation of the blades is about 8 feet from the ground and the ceiling itself is 1 foot from the rotation of the blades.

So, the fan is in situ, now how do we go about maintaining comfort and saving our hard earned pennies. Simple guidelines are that in summer set the fan for counter clockwise rotation and this will pull the warmer air into the ceiling of the room and in wintertime set it to clockwise rotation so that the warmer air is pushed from the ceiling area to mingle with the cooler air below.

As with anything of an electrical nature unless you are fully qualified you must consult and secure the expertise of a professional to do the work for you. Do NOT risk life and limb just to save a few pounds.
