Lighting for reading

Reading requires a proper light. Otherwise, besides being uncomfortable, can be detrimental to our vision. So as we said in the post dedicated to the reading corners, it needs special attention to this aspect. The light may be direct or indirect. If you choose to direct it this should have a smaller power between 60 and 70 watts, if you prefer the second option, be increased to approximately 100 or 150 watts.

The most common option is to place a floor lamp beside the reading chair. This may point directly to reading or, conversely, to direct its beam of light toward the ceiling so that it reflects what (this option is more appropriate when we have a room with ceiling and wall light), achieving greater overall lighting stay and eliminating the possibility of uncomfortable reflections on the books.
