How to Illuminate Your Home?
Good lighting can bring charm and personality to a room without soul. Just knowing how to choose and adapt your lamps and fixtures for your needs.
Some rules
- Multiply the light sources, indirect lighting in which it is possible to adjust the intensity, direct lighting, diffused by a spider and special lighting for example, to track your activities (table lamp, lighting throat illumination from a source light that is hidden behind a panel parallel to the wall and located near the ceiling, which casts its light indirectly, reading lamp …).
- The lighting should not dazzle ever. Opt for incandescent lamps, avoid white walls, choose rather yellow, amber, beige and pastel.
- Beware of shadows on the walls: a lamp on the ceiling just above your desk or projected distracting shadows on the table when you lean forward. Prefers the front and side lighting on the table or desk. It also keeps the light falls directly on the seats with aplomb.
- Play with the lighting to give volume to the objects by placing fixtures side, behind or under objects highlighted. The lighting can thus highlight a picture, an aquarium or on the outside, the facade.
- Install regulators: the intensity can be modified.
